Are Retisol-A and Retin-A the same treatment, just with different names? ?

Okay, I have used both. The Retin-A doesn't cause you to break out really bad for two weeks. It caused my skin to get dry and flake for two weeks then It was super smooth. I also used accutane. As I am sure the Doc told you, the most important thing is that you do not get pregnant while taking it! There is like a 100% chance of severe birth defects. The accutane did not dry my super sensitive skin out at all. What it does dry out severely is your lips. You will have the worst dry and peeling lips ever! Hang in there though, in 3-4 weeks you will have the clearest, smoothest skin of your life! I loved it and did three cycles on it. People would actually say, "You are so lucky. You have that skin that is always clear and flawless". I mean, I didn't get one single pimple while on it!!
