It sounds like the reason she wanted to be friends again was so that she wouldn't have any lingering guilt. My advice to you is to forget about her by keeping yourself busy. In a similar situation, I signed myself up for a bunch of cles after work to keep my mind off things. It just so happens that I met an amazing woman this way and couldn't care what my ex is doing now. So take that first step no matter how hard it may be. You won't regret it.
