Plz Plz Help me Plz......?

when i try to do a system restore i get an error message saying,.. There was an unexpected error: The filename,directory name,or volume label syntax is incorrect. (0x8007007B) System restore will now close. i really need to do system restore does anyone know what the message means or is there any other way i can get to the system restore i have a windows vista,,Plz help me out here
