Fraud alert phone call- will this effect me?

I normally use my banana republic credit card for basic purchases...last night I used it to set up a paypal account on a second email address and made about 4 purchases from 2 different websites..I got a call their fraud detection people back regarding suspicious activity on the account. I'm uming they are just making sure I meant to do those purchases. Is there any way I could have done something wrong that would effect my credit or anything? I spent about $40 and everything I bought was legal. I"m a little concerned. But uming they just want to check.
